After a long, hot summer your natural ponds, koi and goldfish ponds all need their homes looked after — Now is the time to get your pond ready for winter. Clear leaves and debris, trim back marginal plants and remove excess weed, then give filters and pumps a thorough clean, checking impellers, hoses and seals so equipment is reliable in colder weather. Reduce feeding as temperatures fall, consider a de-icer or aerator to keep a breathing hole in the ice, and inspect liners, nets and pipework for damage. A little maintenance now will protect plants and fish through winter and make spring re-starts much easier. With just one phone call away . Call now for pond servicing and full pond clean outs.
